Welcome
Welcome to Rightwise!
When I graduated from high school, I found that after having a fun journey through an unprecedented time of divisive politics, chronicling the midterms, and remarking on foreign affairs—I missed it. And while I knew I could pick up the habit again in college for a student newspaper, I desired the autonomy and experience of writing, publishing, and managing my own website.
And so Rightwise was born.
These are typically articles about domestic issues, politics, and foreign policy. Rightswise is a newsletter, typically a one-man show, though with other contributors on occasion, dedicated to providing commentary on politics, policy, world affairs, and more—from a conservative perspective, though geared more towards the politically homeless.
I believe the best type of journalism is when the authors disclose their affiliations rather than hide behind a fake veil of objectivity. I’ll report things and tell you what I think, and even if you don’t agree with it—you can know I’m telling it in good faith.
I hope you’ll sign up and will appreciate what’s being done here.
Sincerely,
Philip Mahoney
